Steph and Joel: Part 2

After their first engagement post two months ago I had to keep these pictures hidden away so that they would be a surprise for people once they received the save the dates in the mail...Here is a little insider on these pictures...First off, Steph and Joel's wedding is going to have all the most fantastic treats. Lots of cake, cookies, cupcakes, pies and more... they are having a dessert reception and quite frankly, I couldn't be MORE excited about this! To allude to that, they thought it would be fun for their save the dates to incorporate cupcakes! So she had this great idea. Here was the plan. Before we left for the session Steph had gone and bought some cupcakes from Sprinkles Cupcakes to use for some pictures for the save the date. To Joel's knowledge they were going to just have cute, fun poses with the cupcakes BUT Steph had another fun plan... She was going to unexpectedly smash one of these cupcakes on Joel's face for some real, raw emotion and for what turned out to be such great pictures! So once she used the secret key phrase, "Hey Lex, what time is it?" I knew she was ready for the smash...

LOVED seeing the final product show up in my mailbox!
